Considering new laptop, SATA III interfaces for SSD swap?

I'm considering a new laptop and want to swap HD for an Intel 520 SSD I have on hand. Are there laptops with SATA III interfaces, if so how to spot them?

Most higher-end laptops with 7-series chipset should have it implemented. Really no excuse not to.

But you may end up having to download the service tech manuals for the machines you're interested in to find out for sure.

I'd say any new machine is very likely to have it. I dropped a Samsung 830 into my cheap Acer laptop and its working at SATA III.
