This is a 32" 1440 monitor, which I am looking at because I want to upgrade to 1440p, but also I currently have 32" TVs as monitors and I really like that size.

But here is what I'm trying to figure out. I don't have a good understanding of connections/cables. I have a 7970 as my current video card, here is the link.

On a LinusTechTips review of the monitor he said the HDMI port would be 30 fps limited? If that's correct, then the specifications of my 7970 claim that it has a dual link DVI, but if you actually look at the DVI port, it doesn't look like a DVI-D Dual Link (it has all the pinholes, but the logo beside it is different).
Am I going to be able to drive 1440 at 60hz with my current card with this? Granted I may upgrade to a 980 soon, but I'd rather not be forced to upgrade fast just because of this.
