Considering buying both XL2730z and LG 34uc88

LG 34UC88 - IPS 3440x1440 75hz freesync very low BLB reported
BenQ XL2730z - TN 2560x1440 144hz freesync

Talk me out of spending my money. Is there really a compelling reason to wait?

I was originally waiting for the new GPUs to release before making a choice but I got to thinking I also would like a newer nonultrawide with freesync or gsync too. Which doubles my gsync taxation if I go to the green team.

Also with Vega still 8 months away I would want to wait to see how their product performs as well.

Is there a monitor coming down the line that will make either of these obsolete that we know of? I saw some rumors of new LG ultrawides but it didn't seem like they would be directly replacing the 34UC88 and instead are just offering two differing aspect ratios including 32:9 (id bite but I am concerned that if some games already don't support 21:9.. will it be even worse at 32:9?)

I chose these monitors partially to avoid heavy IPS glow and/or BLB. It seems like Acer and Asus are a lottery and that the LG and Benq are the safer bets but, I could be wrong.

Got my xl2730z today because you guys didn't help me save money and talk me out of the purchase. 😛

So far I love it. There is some minor BLB in the bottom right. That is my only complaint.

I am having a difficult time deciding between freesync and blur reduction though. You can only use one setting at a time. With crossfire on I notice a tiny amount of judder sometimes in BL:TPS with freesync, I am guessing it is due to the more erratic FPS curve, probably much better with one card I will test later. Blur reduction some tearing but it is not that noticeable with 144hz.

I don't notice a huge difference between 60 and 144hz like some people can which might mean I am fine to purchase a 75hz ultrawide and not worry about the refresh rate. However, I think I will wait to see what the price and performance is of the super ultrawides from Sony and LG that are supposed to come out this year. 32:9 and 2.4:9. If I do not like them the price on the LG ultrawide may have come down some.
