I'm considering purchasing a prebuilt secondary desktop PC or building one for non-gaming usage. Here is the prebuilt I had in mind:

My budget is $600 before tax. I currently have a 250GB NVMe and a 500GB SSD not being used. I would be saving close to $100 by not buying parts that I already own spares of if I build it instead of buying that pre-built. I also plan on replacing Windows 11 with Linux Mint if I do get that prebuilt even though I have a spare retail copy of Windows 11 Pro. I have a USB switch so that I can use the same keyboard and mouse between two PCs, so the keyboard and mouse that come with that pre-built are useless for me.

Here's what I considered for building one:

Ryzen 7 5700G (includes a CPU cooler)
Crucial 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4-3200
ASRock B550M ITX/ac motherboard
PowerSpec 650W 80 Plus Gold power supply
Lian Li Lancool 170M MicroATX case
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB NVMe (already own)
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD (already own)
Linux Mint 21.2 operating system (don't want Windows)

It would save time buying the pre-built and less hassle. Am I better off just building it with the parts I listed here than buying the pre-built system I mentioned here?

IMHO it's mainly a personal decision as nowadays you don't save much money on a DIY build. Having said that, if I could save $100 off of a $600 pre-built, I would definitely do that.
