Heh.

Someone broke my laptop in a rage and wants to pay me back in monthly payments ($50 canadian per month) for a long time.

I'm considering accepting said offer, but putting it towards a PC lease.

What do you guys think is my best option for this?

$50/month CAD..

Now, I consider one of my options a dell, but I don't exactly love it.

The dell was a Q6600 w/ 8800 gtx, 4gb ram, and Vista Ultimate for approx that much.. (no monitor, but I'm gonna buy a 2048x1536 21" CRT for $100 soon anyway) for about $56/month (I can come up with $6 extra.. =/)

Anybody know a better offer, better place, etc?

It kind of hurts because I love PC building, but I don't know any other option for this, heh.

Get a lump sum instead.

The chances of you getting paid the amount you're owed decrease greatly as the number of payments goes up.

Hmm, I am already thinking about trying (but I don't want to cause havoc thus leading me to getting less or nothing etc)

Don't understand the reason for a lease? you'd be much better off getting CC or better yet no payments/no interest for 12 months.

Trashman, that's exactly why I made this thread -- to hear other options like that.

no payments no interest for 12 months... from a PC store?
