I'll be building my first pc in july when the price drops for the quad -core.

after doing intensive research on the component here and there what i came up with was

Motherboard- asus p35 ( dont want a wifi )i 'm hearing great stuff about the p35.
Asus p5kC
http://usa.asus.com/products.a...model=1694&modelmenu=1

Processor- Q 6700 right after the price drop y not just advantage of this

Hard-drive- http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16822144701

Memory- Crusical blastik 2X 1GB

Case- i'm looking for a simple looking case no need of window or LEd light.
As for the case i do need advice and suggestion Please
one of the choice i have made,

Other consider i made was lian li, but it's a bit over priced

Power supply - pl suggest a good power supply. i dont have any clue on which one to get.

video card- asus geforce 8800gt
Total - 800-900

To remind you i dont need this component

The p5k should work fine. Fry's had them for $199 recently. I would email asus tech support and ask for a brand recommendation for ddr2 6400. DDr3 is unlikely to drop much in price by July 22nd. For power supplies, Fortron, Hiper, or ocz should all work fine. I would look for one at around 600 watts.
