They're too damn busy minding eveybody elses business to mind their own.
Isn't that the truth.
Seriously though, isn't the stuff in hotels PPV? It't not like you go into the hotel room turn on the TV and OMG there is porn. You have to make the choice to actualy purchase and view it.
Creating a website that shows what hotels have no porn at all, if that was what they wanted, like they did, is a good idea. But forcing everyone to conform to their little world view is just plain dumb.
If it takes religious wackos to rid our society of porn I am all for it. Porn is degrading to the human soul and pollutes the people who participate in its creation. I know, you think that's just my opinion and not a universal truth, but that's just because all you know is opinions and you know nothing of real truth. Porn exists only because people are mentally ill and the one place they are ill more than any other is sexually. If you weren't mentally ill and sexually repressed you would have no interest in porn at all and see it for the sickness it is. It is just another form of violence against human innocence and the perfection we were meant to become. Imagine how Jesus would react to porn and you can get some idea of how sick you are. Sex is a flower that blooms for lovers and isn't about grunting and grinding and other forms of filth. Dirt is what man makes out of his feelings of worthlessness. Sorry, to have to tell you. I know my words to you are like porn to the innocent. But then, you didn't have to read what I said, now did you.
You know what REALLY demonstrates the growing sickness in our society? The oft repeated phrase, "I personally do not like this, therefore it should be banned". Those weren't your words, but that was the message...and that's the basic message of almost every "conservative" group in the country. Don't get me wrong, liberal groups do the same thing, but at least they are honest about it...every time someone calls the Family Research Council a "conservative group", I want to beat them with a dictionary.
But at any rate, my point is that the wall between things I PERSONALLY find unpleasant and the things I think shouldn't be permitted is being disolved at an alarming rate. It's as if the idea of a liberal democracy is being replaced by a totalitarian government decided on by the majority....and the most disturbing part is that a lot of people can't tell the difference. Very few people anymore hold the position that they don't personally like something, but they don't think it should be banned or regulated by the government. Whether it's anti-porn or anti-gay marriage, you'll have to look hard to find someone who is personally conservative who doesn't favor banning one or both of those things...people are becoming more and more unable to seperate their individual views with their views on how society should function.
