Anybody else concerned about the deficit? Bush managed to grow the government spending from a $200+ bil surplus to a near $500 bil deficit in 2 years. Why should it take so many years to halve the deficit to "only" $250 bil. Trying to hold the growth of the Federal Government to 4+% when the economy will grow 3.6% this year seems like too much growth of spending.

And this year the projections for the growth of 2004 have been revised again to say that the growth of the coming year will be the largest of any year EVER recorded!!!!!

Projections are not facts.

Clinton proposed a budget; he never implemented one that had a surplus.
