That's why nearly all of Jon Stewart's jokes are aimed at liberals.

Same for Colbert.

In fact, it's why nearly every bit of political humor targets liberals - why the conservative comedy shows have the best ratings and Dennis Miller is the top tv political comic.

No, actually, turns out, comedy is usually funnier when there's truth to it.
 
It's just not funny. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are actually funny and harsh on Obama. The "jokes" from NB just seem to be the half-assed one liners you hear pundits on Fox News try and spout off. Things like it's cold, therefore global warming is fake (brilliant insight!).

I'm not even going to comment on whatever the fuck is in the OP since I won't even bother to watch it. I'll assume its every bit as awful as I expect (and based on the feedback its exactly that).

I enjoy them a lot (for the most part), but don't really like Bill Maher. Its like he goes for the worst way of combining intellectualism, liberalism, and comedy.

Yeah. I like some of the discussions on the show, but most of his jokes are just meh. I guess New Rules are usually okay, but his opening and mid-show-props jokes are always corny as shit.
