Conservative blogger urges followers to shoot Obama

Never heard of him, but he sounds like an idiot. He should be treated the same as those that wished death on our previous Presidents.
 
Yeah, the man is an idiot and I suspect several black vehicles with tinted windows will be pulling up to his house any moment.
 
A bullet in his head is not going to solve this problem.

There's about three main others that would have to be taken care of too.

So, he's an idiot, there's a lot in every bunch, what are we to do?

Since this has come to our attention it certainly has come to the attention of "them".

He's not just stupid, but criminally so. He can be prosecuted and there's a good chance he will. He'd certainly deserve it.
 
The guy is an idiot.

What he should have done was make a movie called "The Assassination of Barak Obama" and then everyone on the left would have marveled at his brilliance.

This kind of thing really disgusts me. This guy sounds like he would like Iran much more than the US. Can't we lock him up for this?

I do believe there are laws against threatening the president or advocating harm against him.

According to this law -- 18 USC Sec. 871 -- which reads, in part:

"...Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."
 
He is really treading a fine line. You can say things like someone should shoot the president or I hope someone shoots the president, or someone is going to kill the president if he continues to do whatever. The line is crossed when you say I am going to kill , or I want you to shoot someone. It is a fine line between speech and inciting violence.

Never heard of Forrell, but calling for the assassination of the president should in my view be a felony.* (Two felonies, considering Biden in first in line and Pelosi second.) Still, after everything hurled at Bush I can't get too worked up.

*I'm assuming this guy has some sort of following and isn't just another idiot Twittering into a vacuum.

I don't get why these people who feel so 'passionate' about something don't take the action themselves while push other people to do the dirty work for them. you care about this so much you do it.
