Conroe system

I know there are alot of these being posted but I've never done anything like this before. I just want to know if these parts will work well with an e6600

The psu I'll be using it s Antec TPII-550. The case will be a P180 which is why I'm getting an atx extension just in case.

I have the same video card, awesome card.
Make sure the Zalmen CPU cooler will cool that processer, you might want to give them a call on that, or a local computer store like compUSA or fry's.
The vantec fan card you could probably do without since the video card cooler is encased on the card and blows the heat out the back of the case. I took that off and put on an aftermarket GPU cooler on instead and it works great.

I thought I read somewhere that the zalman 9500 would work.

Which GPU cooler did you get and is it an easy task to switch the cooler?

Looks good to me, so long as that CPU cooler functions with Conroe.

I decided to not get the Zalman and go with the stock cooler.

Are you sure the G skill ram will work with the ds3 motherboard? I've been looking around and read about some problems.

If you are still thinking about a gpu cooler, i would go with the accelero2.
