Sorry I'm a bit of a newb to building computers, but I have a question.
I bought an ASUS P5NSLI about a month ago, expecting to purchase a Core 2 Duo CPU the following week. Then I saw word of the Conroes coming out with the lower prices and decided to wait. Now I'm wondering if the motherboard will be compatible. The CPU I want to buy is the e6750.
Motherboard is Asus P5NSLI
Nforce 570 chipset
FSB listed as 1066/800/533 (I'm assuming this means I'd have to OC the board to support a 1333FSB CPU?)
Here's the spec sheet for the board:
http://usa.asus.com/products.a...model=1311&modelmenu=2
So should I get the e6750 or am I stuck with a plain vanilla Core 2?
Thanks in advance.
