Come monday, I'll be using some Corsair memory to see if it helps the timings / voltage problem I'm having with the GSKill ram I am using right now.

It is a shame since this GSKill ram can really overclock!

whats wrong with the timings/valtages on the gskill?

Well, the timings for my ram are 4-4-4-12 which I have to set manually, no problem there.

However, after rebooting the computer, CPU-Z reports the timings very different from what's requested. 3--4-4-12 3-5-5-15 ......

There is also the message under pc health status entry about "ddrv1.8v FAIL" (I don't know if this applies to GSKill only or to all DDR2 RAM which require 1.9v or higher

Very nice. How do you like the DQ6?

It's a very nice board. Looks cool, runs cool.
It has 10 USB ports which I need and also 8 nicely located SATA ports which I use as well.

From all the 965P boards out there, this is the only one with the most SATA ports.

And I chose 965P over 975X because of its native support for Conroe, USB ports and I really think Crossfire / SLI is a big waste of everything (money, power, time)
