Hi,
I was thinking about getting the Asus P5LD2 SE mobo with 945P chipset for a Core 2 Duo system. Is that a good cheap choice as alternative to the more expensive 965 and 975 mobos from Asus. I am not going to overclock.
However there is something I don't understand:
When checking the Asus info pageof the P5LD2 SE it says it supports FSB 1066/800/533.. HOWEVER.. a bit further it says: "The Intel 945P is the latest and one of the most powerful chipsets in personal computing. It supports 800MHz FSB (front-side-bus)"
Please read it for yourself over here.
So what is true now?? Should I not get this board? Please explain cause I am confused!!
