I've lived in this place for a little over two years (with a roomate in a house). When I moved in , the bathroom was, uh, icky. I'd use the word "sh!thole" but sh!tholes around the world would be offended. I had notions of cleaning it, but the roomate had the place clogged up with her stuff. I didn't feel it was my place to dig through her crap to clean the john so I simply learned to live with it. This weekend she left for a few days and I couldn't stand it anymore. I threw all the sh!t that doesn't belong in a bathroom (her clothes, mail, romance books, cassette tapes, high-school yearbooks!) in a box, cranked up the tunes, and attacked the room.
Eleven hours later (over two days), it's finally tolerable again. My whole upper body hurts from scrubbing, but I'm not bitchin'. The sh!ttiest part about the whole thing is that since the roomie came home early this afternoon, she hasn't said a word about it (no "looks good" or "thanks") and she wasn't home for an hour before more of her damn crap was festering in the lavatory again. :|
Pics from my phone. Not great, but you'll get the idea. 56k friendly anyway😛

Got an icky bathroom? Post it. 😉
Cliff's Notes: Took eleven hours to clean a gross bathroom and roomate doesn't seem to care.
