Connector will not go

I can't seem to connect the 6-pin power cord to my eVGA 7800GT it seems like the plastic on the connector or the receiver which one I do not know is shaped wrong although I can not tell visually they just slide around on the surface it will not go in. The PSU is what comes with the Antec Sonata II i think the only way to figure this out is to find another 6 pin power connector? Ideas
 
Should work fine. I have a sonata II, and an eVGA 7800GT and the connector goes in. It will only go in one way, so make sure it's not upside down, thats all I can suggest.
