I have this psu (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article185-page1.html ) and it has a square connector with two 12v (yellow leads) and two ground (black leads) in a square configuration that looks just like the P4 power connector of other psus I have.

However, Silverstone has labelled it P3 and there is no other connector like the P4 one I usually have with psus.

Is this my P4 connector, and is it ok to connect that to the P4 power slot on my motherboard (Intel DG31PR)?

P3 is probably just telling you it is connector 3 on the chain of the supply's connectors
if it looks like the ATX 12V connector then it is and should be safe to use
