Hi guys,

I need some help to enable my PC, Xbox360 and Nintendo DS to share our home's wireless connection.

We have one wireless router for our whole house, and I have a router of my own, which I used to use in our old house to connect my PC, Xbox and DS to the 'Net. In that house, I was close enough to the main router to use a cable, so the connection between my router and the main router was wired, from my router's WAN port to one of the LAN ports on the main router.

Now though, I'm too far away to do that. I can connect wirelessly but not wired. My PC has a wireless adapter and 2 wired network adapters. What I wanted to do, is connect my PC to the main router wirelessly, and then share that connection with my router. I can then connect my XBox and DS to the router.

Problem is, I havent been able to get that to work yet. I plugged a cable from my router's WAN port to one of my LAN ports, and then bridged the connection between my LAN port and my wireless adapter. Depending on which order I connected things in, it would either let me access the router, or it would let my PC access the internet, but wouldnt let the router access the internet.

Is there any way I could get my router to connect wirelessly to the main router, and simultaneously allow it to still act as an access point?

My router is a D Link DIR 615 running its default firmware. I've set it up to serve IP addresses in the 192.168.10.xxx range, because I saw an IP conflict when I first tried bridging. For some reason I still get them occasionally. Havent done any manual configuration of my own PC's networking, and dont think we have access to the configuration page of our main router (its a Sky router so I think its locked down tight). My PC is running Vista 64.

Any help would be appreciated!
