Connection resetting

I wanted to send my friend a video through file sharing on AIM(not direct link). Everytime I'd try and send him the file (about 50mb), I'd get the message in the bottom right corner of the screen that says "A network cable has been unplugged" then it goes away in the same instant.

Why would my connection do this? I'm using Linksys Cable modem and router(wired).

I'm also the guy that made a post a long time ago about my connection resetting about every 12 hours 😛

try a smaller file to see if that might have something to do with it. Or try bypassing the router as a test to see if you keep the connection when going straight through the modem.
