I have a 56X CDROM and a SB Live! Audio card, the connections available between them are
- a 4 pins analog audio connection
- a 2 pins (CD SPDIF) Digital audio connection

Should I connect both ? Or just one ? In the second case which one ?

Thanks Gustavo.-

Use one or the other, not both. The analog should be fine unless you are some kind of audiophile.

Neither unless you want Analog then do as bunker suggest...no need for Digital or any cable on WinXP OS...runs through the IDE cable

In fact, it's better to NOT use a cable in XP. Using the cable can introduce noise into the system.

Hmmm... I just switched to XP and did not know this. Time to open the case up :).
