I have an xbox 360 and just got an HD projector. Problem is, the projector has no speakers and no audio connections. Is there any way to get sound with my games when using the projector?
Thanks,
K

You're going to need to use the projector for the video and then get some sort of RCA extender cable from monoprice to hook up the RCA connections to whatever speakers you have.

Do you have a receiver and speakers currently or just some stereo miniplug speakers? Or do you currently own no speakers at all?

Receiver + speakers = Xbox -> HDMI -> Receiver -> HDMI -> Projector with the speakers connected to the receiver. If no HDMI, than component + optical to receiver then component to projector.

Basic low end computer speakers? Plug them into the projector if it has a sound output and hope it'll do any sort of audio pass through from HDMI or Optical or good old Red/White left/right RCA.

No speakers at all? Well, you'll need to get some then.

If you answer the following questions before anyone can help:

What are you using for a video connection to the projector - HDMI / Component / Composite? -- depending the answer of this, you may need extras from Xbox/microsoft - I don't believe you can run HDMI video and RCA audio unless you buy a special cord - someone correct me if I am wrong.

Do you have a receiver / Walmart "Jambox" with some sort of audio input?

How far apart are the xbox and projector? (just wondering how you're running this)
