Connecting with DSL in Linux

I just got DSL, and want to know how to get online with it in linux. In windows (98) i use WinPoET to "dial up" into my DSL provider. Just wondering what software I need to use to do this in linux. Thanks

PS
It's Sprint FastConnect DSL, btw, incase that makes any sort of difference (though I don't see why it would).

So does your connection use PPPoE, or is it a direct connection with no flou-flah (or whatever the spelling of that is)?

If I remember correctly, WinPoET is some nasty PPPoe program.
