I am trying to put an older PC onto my network so that I can use it as a backup device. It does not have an RJ45 port, but does have 2 USB ports. I would like to plug it into the network router rather than into my current PC.

What is the best, fastest throughput, and cheapest way to do this?

It would probalby cost less to get a network card for the older PC than one of those adaptors..

Both excellent suggestions ... the converter from New Egg was the smallest and least expensive (and it should be more than compatible with all of the other D-link devices I have).

Thanks again -
