hey i have a question, what would be the best way to connect two computers in order to transfer data from one to the other. my friend just got a new computer but needs to move some files from the old one. to my understanding i can probably just get a usb cord and that would suffice. is this true? i'm not extremely computer savvy but i do understand for the most part. anyone care to help out?

My favorite way to get stuff from an old computer to a new one is to take the hard drive from the old one and install it as a secondary drive in the new one. File transfers go mighty fast when it's all done internally!
