I just bought a Trendnet TEW-828DRU AC3200 router because the NVG589 that ATT gave us is a joke and keeps dropping connection to devices like our Apple TV.
As far as I understand, if just disable wireless function on the NVG589, hook up the Trendnet to the NVG589, switch on ip passthrough and boom, done? All that's left is configuring the wifi network on the new router?
I'll get the Trendnet by Tuesday, cannot wait to have decent, reliable triband AC wifi in the house. So sick of the NVG589's wifi.
Any help would be appreciated.
