If I were connected to both, would my computer be making use of both connections? like say i was downloading a file w/ one connection (say wired in this case), and i unplugged the cat5 from my comp would the download be severed? if it would be how would i make it so that i would have a continuous connection so when i disconnect from one network i won't lose my internet connection. For clarification, the wired and wireless are two seperate networks

With Regular home computer (Unless one card is used to Bridge a second Network) you can not use both.

It is like you are one person and you having two cars in the garage. You can drive one or the other but not both.
🙁

speaking about a bridge...when i open up the network connections there's a Network Bridge that i've disabled at the moment because i dont' know what it's for. Is this what you're talking about? either way could u tell me what this IS for?
