Connecting to networked printer through router

Hello,

So the problem I have is that I have a wifi router set up in my office to use for guests and my office mate is using it as well to connect to the internet since his Ethernet port died in his laptop. The problem is that we have a networked printer setup on the 'wan' side of the network and the wifi clients are effectively on the 'Lan' side of the router. Is there a way that we could setup his laptop to be able to see the printers on the other side? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The simplest options are:

Connect the wireless router as an access point/switch using a LAN port on the router instead of the WAN port to connect to the office network. This will give access to the network to wireless guests as well, so may not be appropriate depending on your situation.

Buy a USB ethernet adapter for the laptop so he can connect directly to the office LAN.
