Connecting to my Linux fileserver with my Linux machine...IM D Linux fileserver with my Linux machine...SOLVED!

I've had my Linux fileserver running with Samba for the past week and it is working great with the Windows machines on the network. Now, I wanted to get a little deeper into Linux by putting it on my main machine with GUI and all. I've been trying to access my fileserver for hours by using LISa(which I cannot get working) and by trying to just connect through a browser such as Mozilla or Konquerer. I can ping the server just fine, but when I try to access it, it just tells me it cannot find host. So basically, I have no way to listen to my mp3's or access any of my other files.

I'm currently using KDE for my GUI, but before that I was using Gnome. I am a major Linux newbie and I haven't been able to find much help on the net that can explain anything to me in Windows-logic

With a little more googling I was able to find a solution. I shoulda waited a little bit longer to post 😉
