I know this is probably the wrong forum..I cant figure out where it would go, but this is urgent! Im trying to plug my internet into my recently installed XP on my other computer. I have a hub that is connected to the internet, and their is a cat 5 going out of it into my mini mac. I am trying to now take the cable out of my mini mac and put it into my PC, but it wont auto connect. What do I do?

go to Device Manager and see if your networkd adapters have ? over them (meaning drivesr not installed for them.

If you have a cable mode, unplug it and replug it (the power, not the ethernet) while ethernet is plugged into your PC
If you using a router, dont bother with that

Make sure your internet connectino properties are set to detect host and all that garbage automatically

internet connection wizard. It's in start, programs, accessories, communication. Let the wizard work for you.
