I read and understand SATA hard drives don't have master and slave.
On my new computer I will have two SATA hard drives, one DVD, and one floppy. Do I need the jumpers at all for anything?
If I do, how should I connect them? Shoud I set anything to single, master, or slave?
Thanks.

SATA hard drives don't have master and slave as you said. Leave your DVD drive on Cable Select (CS), in case if you add more drives later, you won't have to worry about changing it again at a later time.

So just to make sure, for my two SATA drives, my DVD and floppy, I only need one jumper, and that is for the DVD?
I don't need any jumpers on the SATAs and floppy right?
Thanks.

Do floppies have jumpers? I am not entirely sure, I know they have multiple drive cables, but it could be completely cable select or something.

Yes, you shouldn't need anymore.

SATA drives don't have an option for master/slave setting anyway. Same for floppy drive. I don't think they have an option either.
