Connecting the Front Audio Ports

I have finished assembling my new pc and am now installing windows without any problems however I was never able to connect the front audio ports on my Coolermaster Praetorian case to my Asus A8n SLI Deluxe motherboard. I am not sure where to plug in each of the wires. Below is a diagram that I constructed to illustrate my situation.

Strange that Coolermaster didn't give you one big plug with the wires all laid out. This is one header that's pretty much standardized. But whatever. 😛 If you want an authoritative answer, ask Coolermaster, but here's my hunch:

~~~ FOR REFERENCE: the image has been uploaded to here for those who may see this thread later. ~~~
As you can see with your own eyes, L-RET and L-OUT are electrically connected, so they're the same thing. Stick them on the BLINE_OUT_L and Line out_L pins, doesn't matter which is which if they're both riding the same wire.
Ditto for their twins with letter R instead of L.
The GROUND wire from that group, plug into the NC pin.
On the MIC group, my guess is you should leave the +5VA pin vacant and plug the MIC-POWER wire onto the MICPWR pin, the GROUND pin onto the AGND pin, and the MIC-IN wire on the MIC2 pin.
Again, if you're wanting an authoritative answer, then it would be good to get that straight from Coolermaster 🙂
You might be justified in posting over in the Cases & Cooling section next. Someone must know. Personally I would hate to guess any further when there's a possibility of blowing up your microphone by suggesting the wrong thing. 😱 Or drop Coolermaster an email?
The connections look good. I'd suspect a software setting. Have you dug through all of the control panel and sound control settings?
great, now if there was a way to get the front panel audio to work with the audigy cards soo i can plug into the case 😛
What did you plug in where to get the mic working cause if i know that i can work out the headphones and post back when i get it working.
Did you ever get a solution for this?
I have the same problem trying to get the mic to work, but on my Wave Master I only have GND and Mic-PWR cables, no mic-in.
Any advice appreciated.
I have a FrontX hooked up to my A8N-SLI and the headphone jack works, but there is no Audio cutoff. That is, when I plug in my headphones the speakers do not mute. Any ideas?
