Connecting Screenplay 4805 to Comcast Dual Tuner DVR Box

Does anyone on the forum have the infocus screenplay 4805 hooked up to the Comcast Motorola Dual tuner DVR through the DVI cable? I have had no luck getting mine to work. I am wondering if it is because I have a M1-A to DVI-A with the DVI-D adapter hooked up to it? Anyone have any insight on this, is it able to run connected via the DVI connection?
