Connecting non stereo headphones to sound card ?

Have AWE 64 sound card (good enough for office use) which has the following "input holes" in the silver slot connector:

line in

mic in

line out

speaker out

=========
speaker out is being used for speakers (duh !)

headphone has 2 plugs:

one with a "microphone symbol" which should go into "mic in" of sound card.

one with "headphone symbol"; does this go into "line in" or "line out" ? can't find original manual.

This should be easy, but suddenly it just got me, oops !

Thanks for verifying that what I did was probably right.

After thinking about it, that's exactly what I did. Made sense to me that one had to be "line in" and one had to be "line out".
