Connecting my Wireless and Wired networks

Ok so for a while I have had a wireless router connected to my cable modem and it servers the net for the wired computers and a laptop that we have. Now I am trying to extend my network into another building it is near by so I get good wireles single in it but running a cable would be a real pain because my dogs would eat it (This has happend before). In the second building I have a wired network as well but it has no internet or anything like that. So I added a wireless card to one of the computers in building 2 and tried the bridge the connection so the other computers could get online through it. However this doesnt work at all in fact when I turn on bridging the computer with the wireless card cant even get online. Am I doing something wrong? To bridge the two networks I simply selected them in the Network Connections panel and click bridge. All of the computers are running Windows XP Pro. Sorry if this has been asked before but I didnt see it. Thanks!
