connecting my fans too my mainboard headers, does this make them run louder?

i've got my front 80mm sunon fan & my 2 alpha cpu fans connected to my abit be6 m/board headers. these fans run really loud, does it have somthing too do with connecting them too the motherboard. if i connect them directlty too the power cables they are quiet. does the manboard headers supply a differt current too the fans causing them too run louder???

It shouldn't make any difference. Do you have a voltmeter to check the volts on the motherboard headers?
