I have a Nvidia 8800 GTS video card on my computer. I want to connect it to my Sony Trinitron TV which only has a composite video in (yellow RCA cable). My video card has S-Video and DVI out. Would it be better to use an S-Video to Composite cable, DVI to Composite cable, or something else?

S-Video carries a better picture than composite does, so a 50 cent S-video to composite adapter from Radioshack will be fine.

Would I lose quality in the conversion?

It's not gonna look great anyway since the TV is only 480 res. any adapter will be fine.
