So I thought it would be a good idea to play Wolfenstein Enemy Territory with my bother. Both of us are on the same LAN (in the same house). However, when we both try to connect to the same server, we get error messages...servers timing out, etc. We both have different "player numbers" but my guess is we're getting the issue because the server thinks we both have the same IP. What would be a solution for this?
- 2 different computers on the SAME LAN
- trying to connect to the same Internet WolfET server
- Error messages...times out, etc.
- Only one of us can connect at a time.
Possible solution?? Somehow make the server think we are 2 different computers...how do I do that? Should this be in the networking forum?
Thanks in advance.
