Connecting IDE devices: HD, CD, floppy, zip

Okay, my understanding is as follows:

Floppy goes to floppy connector on mobo
Single hard drive goes to primary IDE connector on mobo
CD-RW (no other CD) goes to secondary IDE connector on mobo


Where does internal zip go? As slave on secondary IDE?

yeah, that would be my suggestion. you usually want to try to leave your hard drive on it's own cable
