Connecting HD Cable Box and Xbox 360 to my tv

My tv only has one HD input, and I am trying to figure out how to connect both my HD cable box and Xbox 360 simultaneously. Is the $80-$100 Pelican System Selector my only option? Will this device even work with a cable box? I don't see anything about that in the descriptions I've read, but I don't see why it wouldn't...

I have a pelican 3 component switch box with fron AV input as well (so 4 selector but only 3 are component). It only cost me twenty bucks at Walmart and even came with a set of component cables. I used it for an XBox (not 360) DVD player and PC hooked up with component. Never noticed any signal loss.

On the other hand, I found a powered component switcher at Best Buy for eighty bucks and had CONSIDERABLE image quality degredation.

The last time I was at walmart it was only 15 bucks, around the same area as the video game equipment. Definetely worth a look.

Thanks for the info guys. My only concern with the cheaper non-powered units was that there would be a loss of signal quality. But now I'm hearing some people say that those ones look fine, so maybe I will be ok with the $20 ones...
