Does anyone know how to connect my Asylum GFX 5600 Ultra to Advent HT2751A HDTV?

The GFX 5600 Ultra has an DVI-I output, an S-Video and a standard VGA output, whereas the HDTV has Component Video-, S-Video- and Composite Video-input. I had tried to connect from the GFX DVI-I to the HDTV Component Video using the ATI DVI-Component Adapter but it doesn't work.

Does anyone has any idea?

Please help...

My HDVT supports 480i, 480p and 1080i reso. S-Video can only give me up to 480p, but I am trying to get 1080i... Any idea?

Thanks

Yeah, I think s-video is the best you're going to get out of that.

Getting something that's going to convert VGA to component is going to be $$$
Getting a tv that has DVI in would be $$$$

Try s-video and if that doesn't work, you'd probably be best off upgrading to an ATI card that supports the adapter you already bought.
9800pro is $158
9600pro is ~$100

I though the latest nVidia driver supports HDTV over DVI?

I'm not sure. I thought the nvidia cards that supported HDTV had a special dongle for it.

example

I'm no HDTV expert for nvidia. The adapter you got works great on my 9800pro and I'm happy with it.
