Hey Guys. I have a eVga FX 5900SE, Phillips 55' HDTV model number 51pw9303, and a 15' dvi cable. I have connected the tv to the computer amd have switched to AV 5, which according to the manual in the dvi input on my tv. I cannot get anything to be outputed my tv at all, not even during boot or POST. When I try to detect monitors in the Nvidia software, it says it cannot find my tv. Do I need to get Powerstrip? What is the process to get signal to my tv? Any help would be much appreciated!

go to AVS and ask around there, I know since 99% of HDTV are not actually 1080x1920 resolution you will probably have to use a custom resolution but you should get the bootup no problems.

The DVI input on your TV uses HDCP (High Def Content Protection), the DVI on the 5900 does not use HDCP. It will not work (I've tried). You need to step up to a 6600 for this to work...(I think...I don't actually have a 6600)...
