Connecting Computer to a TV

How can I connect my emachines 633 ids to a TV so that I can watch some avi, mpeg files?

Do I need a separate video out card in my computer to connect S-video cable?

YOu would need a Analog 15 pin to a rca converter. They are very expensive. Buy a new video card. It will have to be a PCI version as I do not believe e-mahines used a AGP port for upgrading.
