Connecting audio between ATI cards internally with auxillary out/in

In order to get audio working correctly with two TV tuners in my system, ATI says I need to hook my All-in-Wonder sound directly to the auxilliary audio input on my motherboard. Problem is the cables that I have don't fit the aux-out on my 9600.

I have a ton of these cables and trying to connect audio from my All-in-Wonder 9600 pro to my motherboard (which the cable fits fine into). on my AIW, the cable is just a tad bit too bit, like a few mm. Seems strange as all those parts are a standard size, so what am I doing wrong? Do those audio cables actually come in slightly different sizes?

Here is a picture of how ATI says to hook it up.

The audio cables do have different ends, you can get the cables with multiple connectors on the ends. Seems like I recall the digital cable from a CD ROM will fit from the cards CD-out to the CD-in of your motherboard or soundcard.

Seems like you should be able to connect one internally and one externally unless you are using 2 sound devices.

MULTVIEW audio requirements
If you have one audio card or an integrated audio chip, you must
connect one audio path internally (CD-In, for example) and the
other externally (Line-In, for example).
If you have two audio cards or one audio card and an integrated
audio chip, you can connect both audio paths internally,
externally, or one internally and the other externally.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do, 1 internal (AIW) and another external (TV Wonder). Looks like I need an MPC-1 to MPC-2 cables. Anyone have one of these lying around they want to send me? I'll send you some jumpers or a couple mounting brackets or something. Hah
