Connecting a wireless bridge to a wired router

greetings...I got a wireless network running well and such...it's all running linksys 802.11b hardware except for my wired router which is a dlink 604...the problem is I can't connect the router to the bridge...if I hook up a single computer to the bridge it'll work fine...but when I connect it to the router then the setup program won't recognize the bridge...is there something I have to enable or disable on the router to make it work? or instead of a router do I need a switch instead?

nevermind it works now...I had the router set to dial into my pppoe connection back in wisconsin so I set it to dynamic ip since I'm using cable now and it works great...
