There is a possibility to connect a portable 2.5"HDD (WD Passport 160GB - no need external ac adapter) on this tablet?
To another one (Asus M102A) it is normally. Or has Sony another reason?
Thanks for any advice

AFAIK, the external USB drive must have its own power source. A tablet cannot provide sufficient power. The slickest way to do this today is to use a battery powered Wi-Drive or something similar. Your Passport should have a USB cable with 2 connectors. You need to connect one via a micro USB adapter to the tablet, and the other to a 5 vdc power source.

well corkyg,
I was offline for some time.

I have already tried this option, got the cable. I cannot but anyway, I guess it will be another wires connecting = each one cable has a different :(

Need exactly right cable for Asus or to know how to connect wires.

Have you tried regular OTG cable with an e.g. flash drive, to make sure that microUSB-OTG is working on this tablet?
