I have some 240p-480p content that looks terrible in full screen on my 1080p monitor and was curious if it were possible to output a modern card to a standard def (480i) tv. Is it? I remember my 9600xt had an S Video out which was convenient for watching DVD's back in the day, but my 7770 of modern times only has a HDMI and DVI connector. Do they make an adapter that could have it output through an S Video cable? And if so, would Catalyst Control Center be smart enough to pick up on it and output in interlaced resolutions like my old card did?

If you search on amazon you'll find many options for hdmi to svideo. Also, I believe you can create your own tv profile in cc if SD 480 isn't already there.
