Connecting a PDA to my cell phone for internet access?

Basically, I am looking for a way to check my email and do basic surfing with a PDA and my cellphone.

I have a Nokia 5190 and a Nokia 8290 on cingular service.

Is there a way to hook up a palm pilot or pocket pc to my cell phone so I can access the internet?

What type of PDA would I need and what type of cable would be necessary?
