Connected laptop to TV using Svideo.

I went into display settings and chose the 2nd monitor box, and checked the box "Extend my desktop onto this monitor".

Unfortunately, whenever I have something set to full screen and I display it on the TV, if I click anywhere on my laptop screen, the full screen on the TV is eliminated.

How do I bypass this?

You don't. Best you can do is maximize the window to fill as much as the screen as you can. When a video is set to fill the screen it takes over the desktop like a game does. If you click on anywhere on the desktop the application is forced to releace control of the desktop thus dropping it from full screen.
