Connect3D X800 256MB quiet?

I am building a new system. I found a deal for Connect3D X800 for $240USD. I would like to if anyone had any experiences with it, and how quiet it is? My goal is to play BF2 at 1280 with good framrate and quality. I am also thinking about Gigabyte fanless 6600GT or Leadtek 6600GT, they are about $188USD in canada. Will i see siginificant better frame rate with X800? How quiet are the Connect3D x800? And are 6600GT enough for my system?

For 240 I would go with an X800XL (you may even be able to get one cheaper). For 119 AR, you can get an x800, however its only 128MB.

I have a similar setup, except with an XL with a Silencer. Its very quiet and handles HL2 easily, and BF2 at high settings (my AA and AF are a little low though) at 1280x1024.
 
In where I live (canada), that's the best price I can find. I wish I can buy stuff from the states, but that's too troublesome.
