i bought a connect 3d radeon x1900gt from newegg. occasionally these colored pixels show up on the screen, sometimes while gaming other times after a screensaver. if i restart my computer they go away, but it eventually comes back. i have the latest drivers from ati, no overclock, everything stock. is there a fix, or should i send it back? i have this posted in general hardware, but it takes forever to get an answer there....

RMA it, its defective unless your case temp is too high and its overheating. the only thing you can do about that is get better cooling (ie more fans)

what temp does it hit under load?

i don't know what the gpu temp is, but with cpu burn-in my temps are:
temp 1: 47C
temp 2: 34C
core: 49C

with these temps i don't think my case is over heating. also it happens when its not under load (screensaver).
